発表者：大坪 久子 会員 (Lego Serious Play Facilitator、昭和女子大学大学院　後期博士課程文学言語学専攻)」
発表題目：“LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Learning Strategies to Promote High School Students’ Speaking Ability”

要旨：The purpose of this research is to identify an effective way for English teachers in Japan to promote English as a lingua franca for current and future generations of Japanese learners of English at high school. Central to this research is an attempt to clarify key aspects of applying LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® learning strategies to promote high school students’ speaking ability.
     In recent decades, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has attempted to reform high school English education. Yet the average students’ communicative competence has not improved. The goals of improving the students’ communicative ability, which are admirable in theory, have in most cases not been realized in practice. This suggests that more than cosmetic reforms are required. What is needed is a complete rethinking of the way English is learned and taught.

プロフィール：
1974 Graduated Seinan Gakuin University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English literature.
1974 Scientific technical translation in Fukuoka municipal water research institution
 1975 Volunteer interpreter at the World Youth Association (Sekai Seishounen Kouryuu Kyoukai) in Tokyo for almost 10 years, working in England, China, Malaysia and European countries.
1985 Began 25-year career as a high school English teacher in Saga Prefecture.
1998 Selected for a Monbusho overseas study scholarship at Minnesota University.
2016- Awarded a Master’s Degree in Education by Saga University.
- Licensed as a Lego Serious Play Facilitator, attending workshops in Singapore and Denmark.
- Commenced Doctoral course in Literature Linguistics at Showa Women’s University.
- Received the incentive prize by English Phonetics Society in Japan(EPSJ) held at Waseda University.
- Attended facilitators’ workshops of LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Community Meeting in Singapore, Denmark.

講演者：菅井 幸子氏 (株式会社イーオン 法人部　学校教育課　教務コーディネーター)
講演題目：「イーオンと学校教育：今までとこれから」

要旨：来年で創業45周年を迎える民間の英会話スクール、株式会社イーオンは、長年培ってきた【英語で英語を教える】指導ノウハウを、公教育の指導現場に還元すべく、2015年に、法人部 学校教育課を新設しました。 以来、どのような形で学校教育と関わっているか、これからどのように関わっていくかを、研修プログラム制作の教務的な責任者の立場から、ご参加の皆さんと共有できたらと思います。イーオン学校教育課の今までの活動と今後の展望や課題、そして小・中・高の先生方が抱える悩みなども共有し、子どもたちの未来のためにできることを一緒に考えていきたいと思います。

プロフィール：菅井 幸子(すがい さちこ): 株式会社イーオン 法人部 学校教育課 教務責任者。1998年、イーオンのインストラクターとして入社。東日本のイーオンスクール数校で教務主任として勤務した後、2004年より、外国人教師の採用担当リクルーターとしてアメリカ・ロサンゼルスに赴任。2007年より、東京本社 教務課トレーナーとして、イーオン教師の育成に従事。スポークスパーソンの石原さとみさんの指導担当者の1人でもある。2015年3月より現職。全国の教育委員会での小・中・高教員向けの英語教科指導研修や英語力向上研修プログラムの作成並びに指導を担当しているかたわら、高校生や大学生、大学職員向けの英語検定試験対策講座などのカリキュラム作成、指導も行なっている。
